Counselling
An affordable and accessible service for the local community
Life can be challenging
Anxieties, pressures and stresses can be rooted in the past, while making an impact in the present. They can also be the consequence of current circumstances, which are challenging and difficult to manage. Whatever the nature of the problems you are facing, they can lead to: overwhelming thoughts that run away with you; a struggle to make decisions; the feeling that your behaviours or those of people around you are hard to understand; or you can be driven to a sense of isolation and struggle to find somewhere to turn.
Counselling can help
Counselling offers the opportunity to work towards gaining understanding, finding acceptance or making the change you seek. Sometimes we are unsure about why we feel as we do and would like to work through why that is. Counselling is a valuable way of achieving this, offering therapeutic support which enables you to explore your thoughts and feelings freely, without the impositions of daily life.
