Useful Information

The Adeyfield Free Church Centre is a brand new building and has been designed to be accessible.  All entrances are level for easy access of wheelchairs and buggies.  The Centre has two lifts to facilitate access to all floors.

Parking

There are 5 designated Blue Badge parking spaces (marked AFC) for the AFC Centre.

Access to our 3 car parks is from Maylands Avenue.  The upper level car park (entrance near Tesco) has 3 disabled spaces: 1 immediately on your right and 2 at the far end adjacent to the fence.
Access to the lower level car park is from the road alongside the Aldi delivery entrance (not their main car park at the traffic lights), turning left in front of the building and driving through the resident’s parking . There is 1 disabled parking space directly outside the Maylands entrance to the Centre.
The rear carpark is also accessed via the road alongside Aldi’s delivery entrance.  Turn left behind the building, drive through the resident’s parking towards our rear entrance.  There is 1 disabled parking bay located opposite the Pre School garden.

Please be aware that time limited parking restrictions apply on spaces in front of the shops.
Please do not park in any numbered spaces as these belong to the residents of the flats.

Registered assistance dogs

Registered assistance dogs are welcome, however we recommend not bringing them along to any events that could be particularly noisy. Please ensure they are wearing their relevant harness.

Accessible Toilets

Accessible toilets are available on all levels and are fitted with emergency cords.

Hearing Loops

There is a permanent hearing induction loop system in the worship room and activity hall. In addition there is a mobile loop that can be used elsewhere throughout the building.
